What type of book?

OOOOOH yes. I love to read and share what I like with others. Here are my suggestions...You might have already read some of them.

Christian Non-Fiction:
A Scandalous Freedom by Steve Brown
The Ragamuffin Gospel by Brennan Manning
Traveling Mercies by Anne Lamott
Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller

Fiction:
Redeeming Love by Francine Rivers (SOOOO good)
The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy (not Christian despite its title)
Confessions of a Shopaholic by Sophie Kinshela (so funny)

And Danny recommends Harry Potter. :-)

Boy, now that Casey took all my thunder, I'll just sit in my little corner, pouting. Good Night! She listed 7 books! I could get spiritual and recommend the Bible...haha. Let me know if you still want any of "Charlie Recommends" books.

Hilarious!

no pouting allowed! I just wanted some good suggestions, hence the broad question. :)
thanks Casey for your list- I've been listening to Steve's 'Scandalous' podcasts so I might head there first.

keep your favorites coming... this is fun

that's great you're listening to those podcasts. I won't say the book changed my life, but it articulated things that God was trying to show me that I couldn't wrap my mind around.

I wasn't trying to steal anyone's thunder. :-) I just love to read!

Do I have Thunder? Nice! I hope you all know I'm teasing and having fun with you. Here come's my selection of reading...A real good one for teachers is "The 7 Laws of The Teacher" by Howard Hendricks, and other I like are as follows: "The Truth War" by John MacArthur, "Fit to Lead" by Christopher Neck (and others), "Paul" by Charles Swindoll, and the one I'm into now is "Today Matters" by John Maxwell. There I feel a little better. Such a short post and such long responses...who would have known? Gota go sell some chicken!

I know right - look at all the responses! I'm jealous. :)

What about Green eggs and ham, it's always a great read. Just kidding! I just finish Winners never Cheat by John Huntsman.
